Preparatory work for 3rd Low Carbon World Expo started

  A meeting on preparatory work for the 3rd World Low Carbon & Eco-economy Conference and the 7th China Green Food Expo (hereinafter referred to as “the 3rd Low Carbon World Expo”) was held in Nanchang, capital of east China’s Jiangxi Province on August 8, 2014. The meeting discussed and approved in principle the overall scheme of the exposition. Mr. Hu Youtao, Vice Governor of Jiangxi Province attended the meeting and delivered a speech at the meeting.  

  The 3rd Low Carbon World Expo, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, is expected to be held in late November in Nanchang, with an estimated number of 1.2 million participants. Mr. Hu Youtao stressed that the above-mentioned conference is an international, comprehensive large-scale trade event based on integrating the existing economic and trade platforms in Jiangxi Province. Hu added that both the provincial Party committee and the provincial government attached great importance to the preparatory work of the exposition, expecting all levels of local governments and departments to further enhance the sense of mission and responsibility and cooperate in the preparatory work in accordance with the preparatory work coordination organization. Currently, the key preparatory work should be focused on inviting exposition attendees, soliciting exhibiters, planning exhibitions, arranging security, reception and publicity, etc., which are required to be finished promptly and efficiently in the light of the meeting on the preparatory work.
