  Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) is located in the northeast of Nanchang and is comprised of four campuses namely Jiaoqiao, Mailu, Fenglin, and Qingshan, covering a total area of 150 hectares. JUFE, founded in 1923, is under the dual leadership of the Jiangxi Provincial Education Commission Department and the Ministry of Finance of China. It is a comprehensive institution of high learning focusing on economics and management, as well as offering disciplines in law, engineering, humanities and natural science.

  JUFE has 21 schools, over 20 research institutes and delivers 48 undergraduate, 86 postgraduate, 25 doctoral and 4 postdoctoral programs. Currently there are 39,000 full-time students enrolled in these institutions.

  JUFE has 1395 acedemic instructors including 230 professors, 422 associate professors and 74 doctoral supervisors, among which there are 478 Ph.D holders.

  JUFE has established affiliation with more than 85 related universities and institutions of higher learning from 18 countries and regions. JUFE also conducts Sino-American joint MBA projects with New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), U.S.A and with the university of South Australia (UniSA), Australia.

  JUFE has been very active in promoting and carrying out exchange programs with affiliate institutions from Austria, the Netherlands,  Germany, Finland, Australia, United kingdom, Japan, U.S.A and South Korea.

  The first Study Abroad Program (outgoing) was launched in 1999. Many students and academic staff have been benefited from all the programs. There are dual programs offered with collaboration of overseas affiliating institutions as “2+2”,“3+1”,“4+1”, and “3+2”. JUFE sends a large number of students to study in our partner institutions and also receives exchange students from other institutions.

  JUFE is a member of the ISEP (International Student Exchange Programs) network, which offers a wide range of options for students.

  Most of the students who successfully completed the exchange program found well-paid jobs in China and have further development of their career.

  JUFE regularly publishes two academic magazines: Contemporary Finance &Economics (monthly) and Journal of Jiangxi University of Finance & Economics (bimonthly). Contemporary Finance &Economics is rated as one of the top 100 academic magazines in China and the Journal of Jiangxi University of Finance & Economics is regarded as an outstanding social science magazine.
